Reception learn about South Africa
Nursery and Prep School
Reception Class have been continuing their round the world journey and this week the girls have been learning all about the continent of Africa and have all confidently understood North and South!
We had a visit from one of our student's family members who spent some time in South Africa as a child. The girls were intrigued about her journey to school, what she had to eat and if she saw any spiders! They got to try some yummy koeksisters, which went down very well (a type of plated donut) and some biltong which they were less keen on. At the end the girls all had a chance to use some traditional South African musical instruments and had a lot of fun!
