On Monday 18 March, Royal High was delighted to host ‘The Word is not enough’, a languages event run by Business Language Champions and GCHQ providing students with an opportunity to take a peek behind the scenes at one of the UK’s intelligence services.

The day included a series of tasks and activities relating to GCHQ’s work, a keynote talk from a GCHQ linguist and an opportunity to talk to international business people.

Nineteen Year 10 students from Royal High took part in the event as well as students from five different schools.
