Visit to Design Museum in London

Year 10 and 12 students, along with DT Scholars, visited the Design Museum in London to see ‘Rebel’ 30 years of London Fashion.
It was an incredible multimedia experience of fashion over time; how the different cultures around London are reflected in fashion and how sustainability and diversity is at the forefront of design in today’s fashion.
The exhibition was vibrant and wholly captured the students' attention where they are now full of inspiration for their own work.
The visit also included a look around the resident exhibition of ‘Designer, Maker, User' where students were lucky to see so many iconic products all under one roof, as well as considering how design and manufacture has developed over time.
What a wonderful way to spend a school day!
