Willow and Chestnut classes visit Farleigh Hungerford Castle

Willow and Chestnut classes enjoyed a visit to Farleigh Hungerford Castle recently. This linked to Willow’s book of the week ‘Jack in the Beanstalk’ and to Chestnut’s theme for the term, ‘Once upon a time’.
The girls enjoyed dressing up as a range of characters, toured the castle and the moat, learned some interesting facts about what they ate and how they cooked. One of the highlights was holding the Knight’s sword which was so heavy!
So much learning took place and the girls were such curious learners. Well done Willow and Chestnut classes!
