Year 1 step back in time
Nursery and Prep School
On Monday 10 October the Year 1 girls went on their first trip of the year. Linked to their theme, ‘One World’ the girls have been exploring what life was like in homes in the past and a trip to No. 1 Royal Crescent beautifully enhanced their learning.
The girls loved dressing up as scullery maids and exploring the grand house before getting busy with their duties in the washroom - cleaning, washing and ironing. It was a hard morning’s work but a wonderful session and the girls learned so much from it.
Well done girls for showing your ‘sparky’ sides and asking wonderful questions and demonstrating such interest!
