The auditorium was bursting with excitement last week as this year’s dance show, 'The Colour Within', lit up the stage. From the moment the lights rose, the audience was swept into a vibrant celebration of energy, talent and creativity - a true showcase of the incredible dance community here at Royal High.
Mid Somerset Festival 2026 - Speech & Drama Success for RHB
Last week, a large number of our LAMDA students from both the Prep and Senior School took to the stage at the 125th annual Mid‑Somerset Festival. The Speech & Drama section has seen a significant rise in entries this year, and we were delighted to have a record number of Royal High girls participating across a wide range of classes.

A Magical Performance from Our Year 7 Changemakers
This year’s Year 7 production brought a burst of colour, courage and creativity to the Royal High stage, as students reimagined a classic fairy tale through a modern lens. 'The Strong Girls Club and The Change Makers' invited audiences into a world where curiosity is celebrated, friendship drives the story forward, and young girls are encouraged to shape their own futures, reflecting our own values at RHB.
Students Engage in Global Issues at BISMUN 2026
Last weekend, eight of our Year 12 students took part in a weekend of debate at BISMUN 2026 (Bath International Schools Model United Nations). Â Representing Turkey and Poland, they took part in lobbying, diplomatic debate, and discussion on issues such as the rights of women, gene-editing technology, the crisis in Sudan, and US actions in Venezuela, to name a few.
A Weekend of Sport and Adventure at the GDST Netball Competition
