Student Success: Genevieve Year 7 wins Karting trophy
Congratulations to Genevieve in Year 7 for recent success in Karting. She was the 2024 Spring Castle Combe Junior Barnaby’s winner yesterday, beating 50 other karters over the course of the 10 round championship to win the award.
Amazing success for Katherine in Year 7 with the Bronze Omnium at Cheddar Gorge
Congratulations to Katherine in Year 7 who was placed First Woman Overall in the Bronze Omnium at Cheddar Gorge on Sunday. She had to complete four events: a 7km trail run, followed by a 100m sprint, followed by a 1km trail run, then a steep 50m hill climb.
Boat trip along Kennet and Avon canal
Our Year 5 pupils have enjoyed a boat trip along the Kennet and Avon canal as part this term’s Geography topic looking at how settlements were built around rivers.
