Our Head of Careers, Mrs Melanie Whalley, writes about our assembly to mark Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2025, with the focus of  raising awareness of hidden disabilities. What was unique about this assembly is that all of the content was entirely student driven.

Staff Sports Day: Chaos, Laughter, and Some Questionable Athleticism for Comic Relief

This afternoon the Senior School community witnessed a sporting spectacle like no other, as teachers traded textbooks for trainers in a hilarious Staff Sports Day, all in aid of Comic Relief. Organised by our brilliant Year 13 Charity Prefects, Jess and Ashleigh with the help of Amelie, the event saw around 20 teachers stepping up to represent their houses in an afternoon of friendly(ish) competition.

Royal High Sixth Formers shine at Bath International Schools' Model United Nations

Royal High School Sixth Form recently joined schools from across Bath for the annual Bath International Schools’ Model United Nations (BISMUN), a prestigious event hosted by Kingswood School. Over the course of an action-packed weekend, more than 400 students from the UK—and even as far as Mexico—came together to engage in high-level debates and diplomacy.Fourteen of our students proudly represented the delegations of Malaysia, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe. Throughout the conference, they debated pressing global issues, including biodiversity, women’s rights, and international political conflicts, showcasing their depth of knowledge and commitment to global affairs.

The Elements: A Dazzling Display of Dance and Creativity

This year’s annual dance show, The Elements, is a spectacular celebration of movement and creativity. Featuring over 60 dancers from the Senior School and 33 from the Prep School, the production brought the theme of the four elements, earth, water, fire, and air, to life through a diverse range of dance styles. Rehearsals for the show began back in October, with students dedicating their lunchtimes and GCSE Dance lessons to perfecting their performances. Their hard work and commitment culminated in a showcase of both individual expression and collaborative choreography.

In an incredible achievement that highlights both talent and dedication, Year 11 Royal High student Liv has been awarded the highly esteemed Arkwright Engineering Scholarship.
